Family Program

At Gateway Recovery Center, we emphasize the importance of family recovery. In a safe, supportive setting, family members are invited to examine the impact of these processes on their own lives and to build the support system, within the fmily, that will help each member understand the recovery process. This support can become one of the most powerful tools in the recovery of a family as it relates to a chemically dependent person.

Please call (406) 727-2512 to find out when the Family Education Program is scheduled and how you can sign up to be involved.

Family members attend an informational presentation, with a one hour group discussion to follow.

Week 1: What is Chemical Dependency

Week 2: What is the Impact of Chemical Dependency on     the Family?

Week 3: Family Roles & Rules

Week 4: Dealing with Anger & Learning How to Forgive

Week 5: Learning About Acceptance & Denial

Week 6: Reclaiming Your Life & Building Trust

All patients are strongly encouraged to involve their family members in the treatment process.
